Howard Dean "Didn't Mean What He Said"

Image hosted by Photobucket.comEarlier this week, Howard Dean said,
"The Republicans are not very friendly to different kinds of people. They're a pretty monolithic party. They all behave the same, and they all look the same. It's pretty much a white Christian party."
Most Republicans and many Democrats did not think that this was a very nice thing for Mr. Dean to say (see my earlier posting on the matter here).

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid took matters into his own hands today and straightened the whole thing out. According to FoxNews, "Reid suggested that Dean did not mean what he said."

Yep, that settles it. You heard it from the leading Democrat in the United States Senate. Howard Dean does not mean what he says.

I guess that, from now on, we must assume that, as the official spokesman for the Democratic Party, Dean means what he says unless what he says isn't what he means.

And that, my friends, in their own words, is what the Democratic Party leadership stands for these days.
