Howard Dean Sinks Even Lower With Bigoted Attack on GOP

Image hosted by Photobucket.comHoward Dean on a rant

Imagine if Carl Rove said something like this:
Democrats are, you know, a pretty one-dimensional party. They all follow in lock-step. They all talk the same. It's pretty much a party made up of poor, uneducated Blacks & Latinos led by White atheists. They do not tolerate anyone who disagrees with them.
He didn't say anything of the kind, of course. But if he did, headlines in the MSM would no doubt characterize him as a racist, right-wing fundamentalist Christian bigot.

This past week in San Francisco, however, it was not Carl Rove but Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean who (really, actually) said,

(...Republicans are) "a pretty monolithic party. They all behave the same. They all look the same. It's pretty much a white Christian party....(They) are not very friendly to different kinds of people."
At the moment I am still waiting to see a single headline, op ed piece or even a passing comment on CNN describing Dean as a racist, left-wing, religiously intolerant bigot.

Like I said, I am still waiting. But I am not holding my breath.
