Mike Tyson Trying to Rebuild "Wasted Life"

A USA Today interview with former Heavyweight Boxing Champ Mike Tyson reveals a man trying desparately to keep a spark of hope alive amidst a life of darkness and despair. Consider the following comments by Tyson

"I'll never be happy," he says. "I believe I'll die alone. I would want it that way. I've been a loner all my life with my secrets and my pain. I'm really lost, but I'm trying to find myself.

"I'm really a sad, pathetic case...."

"My whole life has been a waste — I've been a failure," he says.

There are few who would disagree with this self-assessment. But the interview reveals that there just might be a "good person" struggling to climb out of his tortured and ruined past. Read the whole article. It will make you think of a Dr. David Bruce Banner trapped inside the body and mind of the Incredible Hulk...perhaps forever...yearning to be free.Image hosted by Photobucket.com
