Thank God for the Good Old British Tradition of Including Humor In Journalism
Oh, how I love to read serious-yet-tongue-in-cheek items like this BBC News article concerning the small island of Tory off the coast of Ireland. I do not know of any other country that not only tolerates such writing, but actually encourages it (although few Brits would admit that under oath). Even in England it is, I believe, a dying art...but one worth saving, perhaps by the England National Trust?
