Nickels Found;Truck Driver Still Missing

News reports indicate that the 3.6 million nickels that went missing last December 21st were found today, buried four feet underground on a Redland, Florida farm. Police had been searching for marijuana plants but, along with 88 suspected plants they also found a cooler filled with nickels. A few questions and a few shovel-fulls of dirt later, the stolen nickels were discovered, virtually all still in their original Federal Reserve bags.

Two people were reportedly under arrest but their names and what they are being charged with were not released.

The driver of the truck carrying the coins, Angel Ricardo Mendoza, is still missing. Police said that he was considered to be a suspect in their investigation and that he was believed to have left the country.

Speaking to reporters, Police spokesman, Giordano commented, "If only I had a nickel for every question about this case."

Now, of course, someone is going to have to count them to make sure they are all accounted for! Any volunteers?
