One Picture Is Worth a Thousand State of the Union Speeches

Here is is. The entire foreign policy portion of President's speech summed up in one photograph.

In this picture, Safia Taleb al-Suhail, an Iraqi humnan rights activist whose father was murdered by Sadaam Hussein eleven years ago, expresses her gratitude to Janet Norwood, whose son, Marine Corps Sergeant Byron Norwood of Pflugerville, Texas, was killed during the recent assault on Fallujah. No doubt the millions of Iraqis who, along with Safia, turned out to vote on Sunday would be just as willing to express their thanks. No doubt they will....as soon as they stop celebrating!
