Haaretz Changes Its Story Re Israeli Radisson Evacuation

Haaretz now declares that there is no truth to the story that Jordanian security evacuated Israelis from the Radisson before the attacks (see yesterday's post on this report here).

Curiously, the new article has the same by-line as the original writer, is given the same web address as the original article (meaning when you click on the link you now bring up the new article) and there is no mention that this is a "correction" of a previous report or even a mention that there WAS a previous report in Haaretz that said something different.

Is this a simple case of getting the story wrong and trying to make it right? Or is there a cover-up here. It smells bad to me simply because Haaretz is being neither honest or transparent about the matter. What do you think?
