"Sylvia" Reveals Democrat's Senate Strategy

Nichole Hollander's comic strip, "Sylvia," either makes me smile or sigh, depending on whether she is commenting on life in general (especially her "Dogs from Hell") or taking cheap shots at Republicans.

In any case, today she lifted up the veil enough for us all to see why Senators Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Barbara Boxer, Robert Byrd and all the rest can act like complete buffoons and not only get away with it, but receive cheers and kudos from their admiring constiuencies.

Note the final comment by Sylvia's daughter, out of sight on the far right:

Ma, call your Senator...tell him we won't think any less of him if he behaves badly when faced with a far right nominee.

Perhaps Sylvia, her daughter and Nicole Hollander will not think any less of them.....but those on the right and those in the middle will.

And that, my friends, is one reason why the Democrats are going to lose even more elections next year!
