"Preventive Security" In Palestine

According to a BBC report Israel has retaliated for a rocket attack out of Gaza that wounded three Israelis yesterday. An Israeli helicopter hit a Gaza building where they said rockets were prepared for use against Israel. A car fleeing the attack was struck by a rocket killing three men. The building was being used by the al-Aqsa Martyr's Brigade.

Palestinians said the building was an al-Aqsa sports club and sports training camp. (I suppose that constructing, practicing and shooting off rockets into Israel could qualify as a sport in Palestine. Hopefully it will not become an Olympic event anytime soon).

According to hospital officials, four of the five men wounded were security personnel guarding the Palestinians' Preventive Security headquarters near the al-Aqsa facility.

You just have to love that name: "Preventive Security." It just about perfectly sums up the political platforms of both Hamas and Fatah and, to their credit, they have successfully "prevented security" for the Palestinian people for a good many years!
