Senator Harry Reid Leads Democrats Over the Cliff

Today the Senate Democrats did what people do who have no power, no influence and nothing to say: They acted outrageously in order to get into the news and they yelled loudly and made noise to create the illusion that they were accomplishing something.

By invoking Senate Rule 21 this morning and calling the entire U.S. Senate into "secret session" for the first time in 25 years (and for the first time ever without a pre-arranged agreement by the leaders of both political parties) Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid led the members of his party "over the cliff" like a bunch of self-destructive lemmings.
