Israeli Professor Suggests Solution to French Riots Might Be "Land For Peace"

Professor Stephen Plaut, of Haifa University, has written an amusing column suggesting that France apply their solution for peace between Israel and the Palestinians to their own "intifada."

Writing in Arutz Sheva, Professor Plaut takes the popular "land for peace" mantra and sees how it fits on the unrest in France.

If all the land that France has taken from others over the years was returned, the French would have only the Ile de France left....that is to say, Paris.

By the time Plaut is finished, so are the French.....left with even less than the Champs Elysee!

Even so, amusing as this jibe at France might be, I still stand by my previous post where I aver that the riots in France are nothing to laugh at.

Pray for the people of France. Pray that the rioters will feel that they have successfully "communicated their feelings" by burning cars, schools, etc. and will call it quits by tomorrow morning.

Pray that France will find a solution. I have no doubt that we will need a lot of solutions to a lot of problems in the coming months and years.
