"T.O."="Tossed Out"--Terrell Owens Suspended by Eagles

Image hosted by Photobucket.comNo more Sharpies in the endzone. No more dancing in the center of the field, stomping on the opposing team's logo on their home turf. No more cell phone calls while on the field during a game. No more Terrell Owens. At least in a Philadelphia Eagles uniform. At least for the next couple of weeks. Probably forever.

"T.O." is now free to play sandlot flag football with Brett Favre on Monday mornings.

As for Eagle's quarterback Donovan McNabb, he will be wearing his usual #5 uniform in Sunday night's game against the Washington Redskins. He will not be missing his top receiver. And Terrell Owens will once again learn the hard way that, 1. He is not indispensible; and, 2. Football is a team sport.

Who wants Terrell now? Even Houston and Green Bay have managed at least one win without Terrell Owens. Even if "T.O." would be able to bring them a second win I doubt that any of the players on those two teams would be willing to sell their souls for such a mess of pottage.

As Jesus sort-of said, "What does it profit a team to gain Terrell Owens but lose its good name in the process?"

Oh, Terrell.......have you ever heard of the CFL? Why don't you pull that cell phone out of your sock and give them a call?
