"Teapot of Humiliation" Suffers Crushing Defeat

The teapot and other objects had, apparently, offended some in the local Muslim community. Backed by the local government, who charged that the objects had not been constructed with proper permits, the unhappy locals determined that they must all be dismantled or destroyed.
According to Little Green Footballs, local officials made a surprise visit to the compound yesterday and demolished them all.

At first I couldn't decide whether to laugh or to cry. Now I think that I shall cry.....not for the teapot, but for those who were offended by it.
