London Bombers May Have Been Duped?

Gee...who can a terrorist trust these days? According to London police, they may not be able to trust their "handlers" anymore.

According to News.com/au (HT to dogbarktree at Free Republic) London investigators are considering the possibility that the four "suicide" terrorist bombers might have been "duped" by the handlers into thinking that their bombs would go off with a timing device after they had "pushed the button" and gotten off of the train or bus they were on. Instead, the bombs exploded immediately when detonated. Evidence includes the fact that the bombers had paid the cost of their automobile parking fees and had purchased return tickets to Kings Cross Station where they first entered the subway.

Another odd piece of "evidence" is the report than none of the Muslim terrorists apparantly cried, "Allah Akbar" ("God is Greatest") as they set off the bombs....something apparently quite normal and expected in such situations.

I wonder if they get their 72 virgins if they died, not by their own design, but by the machinations of other Muslims? Any ideas on this?
