The Lord's Day
Sunday, the first day of the week, the "third day," the Lord's Day. Time for worship, family, relaxation, some puttering around the house and some Stephen Ministry in the evening. It's all good. I'm glad that God told us to slow down and get our priorities straight at least once a week.

Every day, of course, belongs to God, but Sunday is the day we remember our Lord's triumph over sin and death (Easter) and discipline ourselves to put God, his Kingdom and others first in our lives. As John the Baptist once said about Jesus, "I must decrease so he can increase." How wonderful if we all mutually felt that same way about one another. It's God's formula for peace and happiness.
I wonder what your priorities are? I wonder if they are the same as Gods? Hmmm?
